The second edition of the immersive Leadership Skills program, hosted by the International Business School StartSe, took place in São Paulo, Brazil, on August 28–29. The event aims to empower professionals by developing key leadership skills through lectures, hands-on workshops, group dynamics, and mentoring sessions.
Lisa Polloni, mentor and author of the upcoming book The Power of Compassion in the Workplace (to be published by Alta Books), was one of the event’s featured speakers. Lisa shared insights on the importance of compassion in the workplace—an essential topic for addressing the challenges of modern leadership. Her talk explored themes such as multigenerational teams, disengagement, turnover, productivity, and burnout.
The event combined the dissemination of practical knowledge, engaging dynamics, and meaningful exchanges with participants, reinforcing the power of leading with empathy and purpose to create more human, resilient, and productive work environments.
On her LinkedIn profile, Lisa expressed special thanks to cohort LS02 “for their presence and engagement,” and extended her deep gratitude to Dafna Blaschkauer and Anita Fisher, co-founders of SuperJump, as well as Hanna Caetano Silva and the StartSe University team “for the invitation and for delivering an impeccable event, obsessed with excellence in every detail!”
Other notable contributors to the event included Cristina Palmaka, Daniela de Fiori, Edison Minakawa, Fábio Neto, Fabio Solomon, João Bortone, and Marcos Paulo Reis.
This marks Lisa’s second time participating in the program—the first edition was held on April 3–4, 2025.
