Lisa Polloni

I’m Lisa Polloni, ambassador for the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford University, author of the book O poder da compaixão no ambiente de trabalho (translated as The Power of Compassion in the Workplace) — to be released soon in Portuguese — mentor, and passionate about cats and Iyengar Yoga. For over 25 years, I led corporate communication area, crisis management, brand and reputation building at companies such as Microsoft, P&G, Avon, Kraft Foods/Philip Morris, and Mondelez. After facing several personal and professional challenges, I dedicated myself deeply to the study of compassion, neuroscience, and altruism. Believing in its transformative power, I began to integrate compassion into my leadership style and professional routine.

Mentoring

I developed the Compassionate Growth Mentorship program based on the knowledge I acquired through my studies at the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford University. The mentorship is dedicated to professionals, students, and companies that recognize suffering and feel the need to act — to do something to help others in the corporate world. My goal is to guide professionals and organizations in developing compassion as a core skill for both personal and professional growth, making compassionate practices part of everyday life.
